Here is my outdoor dining table....
an old door on a table base.

I will be taking pictures today of it dolled up
for fall this afternoon,
but I thought I would share a before picture from the end of the summer.

a bit of a before picture.

Happy Halloween, ya'll!

enter if you dare....

A few more haunts in the house...
Halloween is my favorite holiday,
if you couldn't tell already.

have yourself a haunted Halloween!

the witch's lair....

Enter if you dare....
to my witch's lair.

I creeped up the living room and dining room
by creating what I picture a witch would have in her lair.
between the chairs is a huge black wrought iron cauldron.
filled with candy to lure the prey inside.
(notice the Edgar Allen Poe pillow)

an overview of what awaits you...

loads of candles on the mantle
for those late nights spent infecting and dissecting.

specimens for the potions and lotions...

bones of  those who have been in the wrong place at the wrong time
rest on the buffet
with ravens perched around.

more to lair to come
if you dare to return!

A maw-ha-ha Halloween...

A Mwah~Ha~Ha Halloween
in a spooky stone cottage.
Come check it out if you dare...
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!
You can be as creepy and dark as you want to be,
and it just seems inspired...
I love making staying up late
and making the house look like a haunted mansion
while the girls are sleeping.
They think it is so much fun to walk around
and see what I have done in the night.
Ms. America 1913...
Spanish moss and crows go a long way for me.
I like things to look like they might have actually came out of an old haunted mansion.
painted black hydrangea...
I did not get any good picts of it,
but I also threw old white sheets on the sofa and two chairs
in the formal living room
to look like an abandoned old house.
Boo to you!
Happy Halloween!
