column...

I thought I posted about this column already,
but I can not find it anywhere!
So, either I am loosing it,
or it somehow got deleted.

Either way, here it is...
my new column
Hubby could not believe we were bringing it home.
He asked if it was to hold our ceiling up....
My reply was, "Yup, come on!"
smiling all the way home....
I adore it,
and I think it adds so much to this little area.

Come back tomorrow to see what
I literally drug home.
{Hubby was flabbergasted thrilled}

A mom and me luncheon...

I had a luncheon for my mom and I ...
 She is the sweetest, funnest, and virtuous woman I know....
 I have four sisters,
and we all feel the same way about her!
 So, I thought it would be fun to steal her away for a
couple of hours all for myself...
 We had a great lunch,
and great laughs....
 Here we are....
Can you believe this little lady is 75?
I am sorry, but I just don't think so!
She doesn't act 75 either....
{it is easier to ask to forgiveness than for permission,
so she has no idea that I just put her age all out there for the world to see,
and a picture to top it off!}
Thought I would share a little piece of my momma with you today!

a Chippy Chest...

A chippy chest for a corner in the cottage...
the picture below is what used to be there....

but we never used it as a desk,
and it just cramped the space.
So, I changed it to just a table with no chair
and painted it white.
It still was just not right for the space,
so when I saw the chippy chest,
I knew it had to be mine.
{Hubby actually spotted and picked this one out}
{{So there was no begging asking for help to move it!}}
It fits the place so much better.
Just a few inches smaller both ways,
but it makes such a difference.
Not to mention,
It looks so good with the old chippy oar
that hangs above a picture in my family room over the sofa.
There ya' have it...
a chippy chest for a corner in the cottage.

Happy Day, ya'll!

The Bradley Family photos...

Our family photos...
My oldest daughter Katie,
moi,
hubby Chris,
and baby girl Mogie...

 Our photographer is out of Nashville,
and is so super talented.
 He is able to let every one be them self,
and capture the most natural pictures.
 You can check out some of his other work here
He has a great website and blog.
 There were so many great pictures that came from this session...
It has hard to decide which ones to share with you,
but here are a few...

the one below looks like a 1970's band album cover...

Needless to say these pictures are all over my house now!

Already planning what we will do for the next round.

Pretty Pictures to ya'!

The bride's maids movie...

I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. FOR. THIS. MOVIE!
 I think it is going to be absolutely HI-LARIOUS!
Some of the funniest gals are in this movie.
I really can not imagine this being a let down.
I think it calls for a girl's night out
with margaritas
in old bride's maids dresses
 followed by this movie!

Who's in?

iconic console table...

As I told ya'll in this post
I change things constantly from time to time...

So I thought I would show you
what this console table looks like now....
 I gathered all my icons into one place,
and made them into a little collection.
{the experts say to do that, ya' know!}

Because I have a gazillion few collections
through out my house,
I was not planning on emphasizing the icons
as a collection,
but they just looked so good together.
{guess those experts know what they are talking about!}

So, for NOW they reside together on this table...
By the way,
If you read this post
You can see what I decided to do in the picture above.
Happy Day, ya'll!
