When I have hit the lottery and moved to France...

When I hit the lottery {I don't even play} and have a home in France,
this is how I am going to live...

This is where I will sit outside my kitchen window
and sip on tea and read and have devotional time....
this is what my garden tools will look like...
this is where the fam and I will eat our lunches
before we hit the beach or a brocante
these will be the pajamas I wear when I go out side
first thing in the morning to gather flowers for the cottage...
this is where the fam and I will eat our dinners
and entertain...
this is the sink I will wash my hands and teeth in
That is even the hand towel I will dry my hands with ...
this is the shirt I will wear as I take the home warming gift
to the new neighbors that just happen to have kids our age
and enjoy wine the way we do...
this is where I will curl up and read a book
while the kiddos are playing hide and go seek
and hubby is out playing polo...
this is what the east side of the house will look like...
these will be some of the clippings from my garden,
that just happens to be abundant and weed free at all times...

*sigh*
One day, right?

Here's to dreaming....

Ido said...

Do you really have to wait to move to France for that? I think you can have your own France, you have a beautiful home and accessories, I know you can make your home look like that. I live on a mountain, not the top, but let's say middle, facing South, my home is almost the last one, then just mountain, but on the South side, I can see all the lights of the town, I can even see the military airport lights, the freeway and the great Salt Lake, yes from my home, it is such a spectacle that every night I go to the office upstairs and sit on a window bench and just admire the city lights, then is when I think of the Eiffel Tower and just picture it there on the horizon. I just tell my self that I can have my own Paris if I want to. I don't think I could get that view anywhere in the world, so I think you can do all that you want, you don't need to move to France, just surround yourself with beautiful things that make you feel special. (Don't hate me for the long comment) Have a beautiful French day!
