where my goodies went, from my day with Tot...

I shared with you in this post
my treasures that I picked up at Tot's shop,
So, I thought I would share with you where some of them went...

Another member of the Madonnas...
remember the wicker that was around this demi john?
It is gone now,
 and it fits in nicely
with the other goodies
 on the mantle...
And this was the old cabinet door
turned sign...
in a vignette with the
cloche covered shells...
Isn't it just dreamy!
and my clock collection
got another piece added...
I try my best to distract you
from all of the technology
in my home,
but somethings you just can not disguise...
Remember this post?
One of my chippy old mirrors came from Tot...
Remember my pile of lovely junk
before it was disbursed?
and now it all has a place to call home...

Flea Market Style

I have not been to blogville for a while because
I have been on vacation with my hubby and girls.
I will be blogging about that soon,
but I had to blog about this first.
While we were in Hot Springs, NC
enjoying no cell phone service or Internet and each other,
I picked up a few magazines to kick back with.
One of those was the new Flea Market style.
And I am irrevocably addicted!
I am sure most of you savvy shoppers have already purchased this edition,
but if any of you have not....CHECK OUT THIS JEWEL!
My heart was palpitating at all the ideas and inspiration!
You should see my new "To Do" and "To Get" lists
Still kicking myself about not purchasing this magazine the second it hit the shelves!
And for anyone who is questioning the $10 price tag as I did....
trust me, soooo worth it!
Unfortunately for hubby, I think I have decided on a couple of new collections to hunt for.
Not replacing any old collections, mind you...
So, read on sister salvage sleuths, read on!

Early Easter...

Early Easter wishes to all...
I have not been to blog land this week because my hubby is home for two weeks before returning to Afghanistan, so I am spending every minute with him.
{he is asleep now}
I am so thankful that hubby will be home for Easter with the girls and I, and
I am so thankful that we have a reason to celebrate Easter.
I am thankful for the wonderful Easter memories I have from my childhood,
and so thankful for the wonderful memories we are making with our girlie girls.
So, early Easter blessings to all.
We are all so very blessed!

Napa Style...

Nappa Style...
I adore this catalog and on-line shoppe.
Thought I would share it with you.
How yummy is this french wine crate used as a side table.
This is so "office", but for the kitchen.
I love anything that is used in a different way then it was intended.
I use one of these old bathtub feet as a paper weight in my office
So much texture.
Heck of a coffee table,
comments on this piece would be endless.
These pendant lights just leave me speechless.
I think I have to have these just so
that I can host a cookies and milk party for the girls.
I would use these stools inside and out.
This is a spoon chandelier.
How fun is this?
Love anything with a religious icon,
and the fact that they are candles
just make them even more desirable to me.
I want this by every sink in my house!
This tray makes me long for muddy boots to slide off and stick inside.
Always love a demijohn
These inspire me to go to a yard sale or flea market
and buy every old drawer I can get my hands on.
Adore these plant markers.
It truly is all about the details.
So creative.
This site just really gets my mind reeling
with ideas to go out and be creative on my own,
and a good source when you just want it already!

Moi new Junque...

Moi new junque!
Went junkin' and this is what came home with me...
All the essential information...
I now possess.
Old, shabby black & white horse print
(I live in Kentucky, so anything that is old to do with horses is a keeper)
Perfectly imperfect frame
old service bell
I rang it last night for my girls when their dinner order was "up"
and they immediately came running for dinner.
Obviously a good investment when something helps me only say it once!
Ok, just look at this!
It is a VERY old, VERY industrial, and VERY chippy,
hair stylist cart.
It could not be any more perfect!
about had a heart attack when I spied it.
Who could give this up?
Looks so good with the daffodils from my yard,
some old books, and a piece of my sterling collection.
(Yes, another collection)
I love how the industrial beauty cart looks
with the refined feel of the sterling bowl.
These flowers are so beautiful they almost look fake.
